There are a couple of ways you can approach cooking bacon in the oven. You can do it either by using a cooling rack or directly in a baking pan.
The final product you get isn’t too different from each other but people out there that know their bacon will feel the differences in texture and taste.
Before throwing the bacon on a baking sheet and start baking it you need to know that there is more than one type and size of bacon available and depending on which one you choose, the preparation time might change (the thicker the bacon the more time to prepare it).
Why Bother Cooking Bacon In The Oven?
How to cook whole30 bacon, this is a common wondering people have when someone suggests that they should try to cook bacon in the oven and the reasons behind it are quite convincing.
First of all it’s really easy and quick, because all you need to do to make your bacon more delicious is essentially placing it on a cooling rack and cooking it for 15-20 minutes.
Another reason is that bacon is much tastier when it’s crisply cooked and has that golden color.
The best thing is that it doesn’t take an expert to do this task since you just need to place it in the oven and turn over the bacon pieces when you notice them getting crispier.
What If You Cooked Too Many Pieces Of Bacon?
Nothing to worry about here because cooked bacon can be easily stored in the fridge. All you need is an airtight plastic bag or container and place it in the refrigerator.

1.First thing to do here is to get a pan and line it completely with foil.
2.Lay out the bacon inside the foiled pan making sure it’s not overlapping so that every piece is evenly cooked and doesn’t stick to the one near it.

3.Turn the oven to 375F and cook it for about 15 minutes then flip the pieces of bacon carefully and cook for another 5 minutes or until the bacon looks golden and crispy.
4.Take the pan out of the oven and take the bacon out of the pan, putting it on a plate with paper towels to absorb the extra bacon grease.
How To Cook whole30 bacon On A Cooling Rack?
1.Take out a baking pan and line it completely with foil.
2.Get a cooling rack that is safe to use in a hot oven and put it in the center of the foil covered pan.
3.Put the bacon pieces on top, making sure they aren’t too close so they don’t stick to each other.
4.Turn the oven to 375F and cook the bacon for 15 minutes then turn the pieces of bacon over and keep cooking them for another 10 minutes approximately or till the bacon gets crispy and golden.
5.Take the pan out of the oven and take out the bacon, placing it on a plate with paper towel to absorb the extra grease and bacon fat.

Make sure after you’re done with cooking the bacon to save the bacon fat which is very easy to do. Just take a jar and pour the fat from the pan into the jar.
