Anyone who eve loved crispy and crunchy food will instantly want to try out this recipe. It’s Tater Tots. Even though they are not made of potatoes you won’t miss it at all and even though it’s composed of cauliflower the taste is almost unnoticeable. So without making this introduction too long, let’s see the ingredients for this great side dish.
- 1 medium head cauliflower
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 large egg
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons psyllium husk powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup frying oil
First thing you’ll need to start executing the recipe is to get the cauliflower and chop the head into florets while getting rid of the long stems. Next you’ll need a bowl in which you’ll steam the cauliflower.
Next you’ll need to grab a food processor and put the cauliflower in it and pulse until the cauliflower looks like mashed potatoes at which point you’ll need a bowl in which you’ll put a dish cloth and put the mashed cauliflower in.
Add the mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper to the mashed cauliflower.
Use your hands to mix them all together until the mixture is thickened and add the psyllium husk powder. Using the mixture, create tater tots from it and then fry them in a pan 6-9 at a time and flip them as soon as they crisp on each side.
