- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ small onion, diced
- 1 medium red bell pepper, diced
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 4 ounce can chopped green chile
- 6 ounces tomato salsa
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 16 ounces grated jack Cheese
- 6-7 homemade tortillas

First thing you’ll need to start executing the recipe is to get a frying pan and melt two tablespoons of butter in it, then add the diced small onion and bell pepper to cook on medium low until they are soft.
Add 1 teaspoon of garlic salt along with the spices with peppers and cook them together for about 3 minutes.
Add 1 cup chicken broth, ½ cup heavy cream, 4 oz. can of chopped green chile, 6 oz. of red salsa and stir when adding each ingredient.
Take a cup and remove 1 ½ cups, blend them then return to the cooking pot and add 1/3 cup sour cream, 3 cups chicken and mix it all together.

Get a casserole dish and spread a thin layer of sauce in it, layer the low carb tortillas on top of the sauce, spread out half of the remaining sauce on top of the layer of tortillas, add 8 oz. of grated cheese, create another layer of tortillas, spread out the rest of the sauce, add another 8 oz. of grated cheese and put it to bake for 30 minutes at 350F.
