Bread, one of the staples of the human diet. Since we were able to cook, bread has formed the cornerstone of most of our meals, either as a base, or as a side.
Bread is traditionally a high carb food item, however, through the power of human creativity, we now have many different variations of the food we all love and trust, but with a low-carb quality like keto 90 second bread.
Keto 90 Second Bread
- 1/2 cup
- 1/2 tbsp
Himalayan pink salt
- 1/4 cup
ground Psyllium husk
- 1/4 cup
solid coconut oil
- 1 tbsp
- 2 cup Blanched almond flour
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an oven loaf pan with baking paper. Mix dry ingredients in a suitably sized bowl.
One great example of this is almond bread. This form of bread is a perfect, delicious way to enjoy the same texture and profile of the staple, but without the extra carbohydrates.
Almond bread ingredients are as follows:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt
- 1/4 cup ground Psyllium husk
- 1/4 cup solid coconut oil
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 cups Blanched almond flour
- 4 eggs
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line an oven loaf pan with baking paper.
- Mix dry ingredients in a suitably sized bowl
- Mix in well all liquid ingredients (including melted coconut oil)
- Pour mixture into loaf pan, making sure to form an even shape
- Bake for approximately 1 hour until an inserted skewer comes out clean with an adequate bread crust having formed.
- Allow to cool before removing from loaf pan.
- Serve with any typical low carb spread, such as bacon jam.
