- 5lb Whole Chicken
- ½ cut in half Onion
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 cut in half Lemon
- 1 cup Chicken stock
- ¼ cup grass-fed Butter
- Thyme (to taste)
- Dill (to taste)

- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)

- 1 cut in half Onion
- 2 Garlic cloves

- 3 tbsp Olive oil

- 2 tbsp smoked Paprika
- 1 tbsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp dried Thyme
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- ½ tbsp Onion powder
- ½ tbsp Chili powder
- ½ tbsp dried Basil
To start making this instant pot whole chicken recipe you’ll need to get a small bowl and add the pepper, salt, paprika, thyme, basil and chili powder to combine well.

Using the olive oil and half of the seasoning you prepared in the bowl, rub the chicken till all of it is covered and ready to bake.

Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode on high and heat up one tablespoon of olive oil.

Take out the chicken and the trivet from your instant pot and set the chicken on it, then place both back in the inner pot.
Add the chicken broth, cover and seal the lid and set the instant pot to manual high pressure and the timer to 24 minutes.
Let the instant pot release pressure naturally which may take up to 15 minutes.
When the time has passed (24 + 15 minutes) use the quick pressure release to get rid of the remaining pressure, open the lid and take out to chicken, transferring it to a plate and getting it ready for serving.
