It’s packed with flavor and very tasty and it will be very appreciated by everyone at your lunch or dinner table. It takes about 45 minutes to prepare from start to finish and following this recipe you’ll get 4 servings.
The ingredients you’ll need to prepare the entire dish are:

Ingredients
- 1 lb
thinly sliced Chicken breast
- 1 tbsp
Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp
Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sherry
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup
Avocado oil
- 8 ounce
sliced Mushrooms
- ½ sliced Onion
- 3 minced Garlic cloves
- 2 halved Zucchini
- 1 tbsp
minced Ginger
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp
Soy sauce
- 2 crushed and minced Thai Chile peppers

To start preparing this recipe you’ll need a large bowl in which you’ll put in the soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry, salt and pepper and mix them well.
After that you’ll need to place the chicken slices in the bowl and coat it with the mixture and put it on a separate plate for about 15 minutes.
Take out a frying pan and heat up the oil over medium heat till it is shimmering and afterwards add the chicken slices to cook, stirring occasionally so the chicken slices doesn’t stick to each other or the pan.
Once done, take out the chicken and put it on a plate with paper towels to drain the excess oil.
Place the mushrooms, zucchini and onion into the frying pan and cook for around 6 minutes before adding the garlic and ginger and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
After this add 1 tablesoon of soy sauce, sesame oil, Thai Chile peppers and the chicken and fry everything together.
Once it’s done, serve it with some green onions and sesame seeds as topping.

The second hunan chicken recipe is delicious as well although it’s a bit higher on carbs and it might disrupt your daily carb intake if you’re on a strict keto or low carb diet.
It takes about half an hour to make from start to finish and following the recipe you’ll get 4 total servings. It’s quite easy to make and the ingredients you’ll need to make it are:

- ¼ cup Canola oil
- 3 cups Broccoli florets
- ½ cup Chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon minced Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoon Oyster sayce
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Chili paste
- 3 minced Garlic cloves
- 4 ounces thinly cut Mushrooms
- 1 halved Zucchini
- 1 can drain Bamboo shoots
To start making hunan style chicken recipe you’ll need to get an airtight zip lock bag and add the chicken and cornstarch in it to coat the chicken well by shaking the bag with the ingredients once it’s closed.
Take out a frying pan and add the oil inside to heat it up over medium heat. Once heated cook the chicken around 2-3 minutes per side.
Take out a small bowl and add the ½ cup of chicken broth, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 tablespoon chili paste and mix them together well to prepare the sauce.
When the chicken is done, take it out of the pan and add in the garlic, zucchini, broccoli, bamboo shoots, ginger and mushrooms and cook them while stirring occasionally for about 3 minutes.
After the 3 minutes has passed, add the chicken back in along with the sauce and cook everything together till the sauce starts to get thicker which should take about 2 more minutes.
The nutritional value you get per serving is quite good at 12g net carbs, 337 Calories, 18g Fat and 30g Protein
Hunan Chicken Recipe #3
The third recipe we have for you is the highest in carbs but still not too high so you can still consider it even if you’re on a keto diet. It also easy to make and it’ll take you about 30 minutes from start to finish.
It’s very tasty and delicious and we’re sure that your entire family will love it. The ingredients you’ll need to prepare this recipe are:
- 2 Large boneless Chicken breasts cut up in slices
- 1 sliced Red bell pepper
- 1 cut Zucchini
- 4 minced Garlic cloves
- 1 cup Carrots
- ¼ cup Cornstarch
- ½ cup Chicken broth
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon granulated Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon minced Ginger
- 2 tablespoons Chili paste
- 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon Rice wine
- ¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper
- Green onions
- Sesame seeds
To start this recipe you’ll need a bowl in which you’ll put the ¼ cup of cornstarch and add some salt and pepper before stirring to combine them well.
Once they are well combined, add the chicken slices to coat them and afterwards set aside.
Take another bowl and add the 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of rice wine, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 4 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon minced ginger, 2 tablespoons chili paste, 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, ¼ cup soy sauce, ½ cup chicken broth and ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes and whisk them together till they are well mixed.
Take out a frying pan and add the vegetable oil to heat it up over medium heat. Once it’s heated well, add the chicken slices and cook them well till both sides are well done, then take them out and set aside.
Add the sliced red bell pepper, zucchini and carrots into the pan and cook them for about 8 minutes before returning the chicken back in the pan along with the sauce you prepared in the other bowl.
Cook it all together while stirring occasionally for about 1 minute and then turn of the heat.
Transfer it to a plate and garnish with some green onions and sesame seeds.
The nutritional value you get per serving is quite good at 14g net carbs, 276 Calories, 11g Fat and 27g Protein.
