COVID-19: How to Avoid Coronavirus

How to Avoid Coronavirus ? At the end of the year 2019, a new infection was found in Wuhan, a city in China. This disease is known as coronavirus. It is a contiguous virus that transmits from one person to another pretty rapidly. Due to its fast transmission among people, the virus became a threat to the whole world.

The official name of this virus is SAR-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndromes – Coronavirus-2), also known as COVID-19. It can cause diseases related to respiratory and gastrointestinal (infections in the stomach and intestines) areas in both humans and animals.

The virus can quickly use your body as a host, and it can cause multiple diseases. As fast as time passes, the virus spread outside China too. After a few weeks or months, which is at the end of March 30, 2020, approximately more than one hundred and ninety countries have coronavirus patients.

Coronavirus spreads from touching each other, any surface, or objects without washing our hands. Due to this, you can spread the virus quickly. The WHO (World Health Organization) recommends everyone to adopt standard etiquettes in their routine to avoid the infection.

According to the WHO, the category of people who might get infected is the elderly. Also, those with a compromised immune system can get ill. People with diseases like high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer are at big risk. However, it does not mean that people who are young and do not have any medical issues are immune to the coronavirus. Youngsters are not invincible. The virus can have them admitted in hospital for weeks. Thus, it can also kill them.

Although we have mentioned it above; if you detect any of the symptoms of the coronavirus, call any medical emergency number.

Keeping yourself in isolation is significant and plays a vital role in stopping the virus from transferring from one person to another. Self-isolation restricts the infection to you. Let us specify the essential things that you should follow while being in isolation;

  • Do not travel in public transport.

  • Do not allow people to visit you.

  • Start working from home if you cannot then take medical leave.

Self-isolation is somehow complicated for you at first, but people around the world are already in isolation. If you or anyone is infected by the coronavirus, legally, they are restricted to stay in isolation for 14 days because this is the most efficient way to protect others from infection.

Economic Crisis Due to Coronavirus:

It is not easy to handle both the economy and the COVID-19 crisis together. The economics of underdeveloped countries are suffering more than others.

Ever since the government and authorities announced the lockdown, places like manufacturing industries, stock markets, other local and international businesses, and their workers are suffering. Every business that cannot be handled from home is drowning. The financial sector and workers are in shock.

Besides the above market, the daily wage employees are also suffering devastating consequences due to the coronavirus. If the businesses in a country are not running, and do not start soon, then this could lead to a huge economic issue. Thus, an economic recession can take place and the unemployment rate can increase.

Emotional Crisis Due to Coronavirus:

We all are concerned about our beloved countries and the people whom we care about the most. Socializing was also the best option to overcome your emotional crisis or depression. However, now it threatens you or people around you.
