The fitness world has definitely changed.
Never in history has there been such a major shake up in the way we approach our health and fitness routines and I think these changes are here to stay.
Now with that being said, there are some health trends that I think you should pay close attention to because I think moving forward they’re going to reflect a new perspective on the way we approach both our mental and physical well-being.
Today more than any other time in history, people are beginning to really see the value of being physically fit.
All around the globe we’ve seen it with our own eyes…
Those who are healthy, have a significant advantage over those who aren’t. Which is why people are beginning to prioritize their mental, emotional and physical health. And that’s a good thing…
It’s also quite possibly a hard lesson we all needed to learn. Moving forward I’m quite sure we’ll see a lot more talk about the immune system, the value of supplements, at-home workouts and more time enjoying the great outdoors. So with that said…
Let’s take a look at a few health trends starting with trend #1.
Shifting our emphasis to immune system health.
If you’ve been megadosing vitamin C, zinc, D3 and elderberry you’re in good company. Moving forward I expect to see a continued interest in keeping our immune system in tip top shape.
And that includes a wide range of proven immune boosting supplements as well as specific herbs and plant extracts known for their immune enhancing properties. I also think people will shift towards a diet of whole foods and away from chemical laden processed foods too.
The next trend I see is…
An increase in the consumption of fermented foods.
Fermented foods are excellent for gut health and the latest research shows a very strong connection between a healthy gut and a strong immune system.
Plus, gut health impacts pretty much every other aspect of our health. Including brain health and of course digestion. Which is why I think we’ll also begin to see an increase in the use of probiotics as well as fermented foods and fermented drinks.
If you’re not loading your fridge up with sauerkraut, kimchi and kombucha yet, you may want to consider it. Fermented foods fortify and strengthen our immune systems, enhance nutrient absorption and support a healthy digestive system.
In fact here at LIFERENU we think gut health is so crucial to a healthy immune system that we’ve put together an entire supplement bundle designed to help you achieve ultimate gut health.
It’s called the LIFERENU Gut Health Stack and you can learn more by clicking here. Before you do though, let’s move on to the next fitness trend…
Home and Outdoor Fitness
Look, getting to the gym this past year or so has been almost impossible. People who value their health have been forced to compromise and find other ways to get their workouts in.
That’s why I predict a huge increase in online fitness classes. It’s one of the biggest reasons we created FITSQUAD ELITE our exclusive online fitness program designed specifically to deliver incredible results in record time.
The next trend I see coming is…
A Shift Towards Better Mental Health
Listen, this past year or so has been extremely challenging for everyone. And mental health issues are on the rise. That’s why it’s so important to not only take care of your body, but you also need to take care of your mind. This can include meditation, yoga, hypnosis, mind exercises or long walks in nature.
And in light of recent events, it’s important to take inventory of your own mental well being. Try to find time for yourself and get clear on what you need.
Another trend I see is a move towards better health of a different kind…
Better Financial Health
Look, there’s no doubt that people get stressed out about money. And if there’s one thing I know for sure, this recent global situation caught so many people off guard. And a lot of people are bound and determined to never let it happen again.
I also see a big year and future for the CBD industry.
In just the past few years, the CBD industry has grown by leaps and bounds. And I believe as part of the new shift towards natural health and wellness we’re goIng to see a lot of good quality CBD products come to the market. Plus, the range of products will widen and you’ll see hemp being used in all sorts of ways…including foods and beverages and even skin care products.
The next trend I see coming is a shift back to…
Toxin Free Household Products
I think the recent health scare had a lot of people using harsh chemical based cleaners out of fear. But I think we’ll see a move back in the other direction as people become more aware of the benefits of natural products and the dangers of chemical based ones.
Finally I think we’ll see a lot of people moving towards…
One good thing about the restrictions on gyms and indoor activities is that it has forced people to get outside. And frankly, I think a lot of people realized how much they really enjoyed it. Being outside is uplifting and calming and there’s really nothing like being out in nature.
So there you have it…
