  • ½ cup of Swerve
  • ¼ cup of water

To start off making your own bacon jam you’ll need to cut the bacon into small pieces and slice the red onion.

Grab a pan and cook the bacon well enough but not too much so it doesn’t turn out crispy.

Once that is done get the Swerve and add it to the pan with the red onion, lower the heat, stir it around and cook it for around 15 minutes.

Once those 15 minutes has passed add the bacon back into the pan along with the water and the coffee and stir it and cook on a medium-high temperature for about 30 minutes.

How Long Can I Store The Bacon Jam For?

Storing your bacon jam recipe in a fridge is the best option because that way it can be edible for about 2 weeks but you’ll have to carefully close the jar because if there are any leaks the jam might go bad sooner.

It’s much better served right away when it’s fresh but if you have some leftover you can save it for later, however, don’t opt for serving the bacon jam right out of the fridge while it’s still cold because than it doesn’t taste the best. Warming it up a little bit or serving it on a room temperature are the best options.
